Out of the Woods also manufactures fine quality Tanoak hardwood lumber, which is highly figured and kiln dried. It is sold in lumber form up to 8' feet long, up to 8" wide and up to 6/4 thickness (8/4 will be available soon).

The physical properties of Tanoak are very similar to those of Northern red oak. It is a light, golden brown wood with occasional natural color. Tanoak wood machines well, and is hard and resistant to abrasion. Tan Oak makes an excellent choice for high-quality furniture.
